Labour's Reward
A day of labor brings an hour of cheer,
A week’s hard work makes a day shine clear,
A year of toil, a month's delight,
A lifetime's effort, joy infinite.
Life isn't meant to be easy, they say,
If it feels simple, you might be astray.
Jesus spoke of heaven's narrow gate,
If you’ve lost the path, turn before it’s too late.
Life’s trials aren't meant to bear alone,
Seek not just anyone, but the One enthroned.
He who offers a yoke that’s light,
Will guide you through, day and night.
