He had decided to follow the Lord's path with all his heart. In his journey of faith, there were moments when he deeply yearned for confirmation—signs that affirmed he was indeed on the right path. Sometimes, the silence could be overwhelming, leading him to question whether his prayers were being heard or if he was doing something wrong.
Yet, he held on to the truth that faith was not always about visible signs but about trust in God's promises. He reminded himself of Hebrews 11:1, "Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen." He knew that God heard his prayers, even when the answers were not immediately evident. It was a walk of faith, trusting that He was guiding him every step of the way.
In these times of doubt, he turned to the Scriptures for reassurance and sought the comfort of His presence. He leaned on Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make straight your paths." He had faith that God's plans for him were good, as Jeremiah 29:11 says, "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope." Even in the silence, He was working in his life. His journey with the Lord was a continuous growth in trust, learning to walk by faith and not by sight, as 2 Corinthians 5:7 states, "For we walk by faith, not by sight."
